The Challenge

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Melimoyu Lodge came to Tartanbond seeking support on ways to generate awareness, sharing Melimoyu Lodge’s story and highlighting the untouched wilderness
that surrounds it. 

Our Response

Tartanbond provided earned media, social media, and digital advertising support. With the pandemic complicating international travel, Tartanbond hosted a virtual showcase via Zoom for media, with the goal to familiarize themselves with the lodge, its team, and provide a glimpse of what a day at Melimoyu Lodge would look like. Further inspiring future visits, Tartanbond hosted a media trip with top-tier US and Canadian journalists.

Impact

To expand their marketing efforts, Tartanbond also assessed current digital marketing efforts, starting with audits of its website and social media. As determined from the audit insights, we launched a paid and owned digital communications campaign, offering social media management and paid digital advertising across Google Search and Meta. The paid digital advertising campaign was responsible for 81.7% of all website traffic, and 55.4% of all leads. The campaign was responsible for generating 170+ reservation form submissions.
